Female founders, this accelerator wants to help you build the next tech unicorn. And change the world

Applications are open for female entrepreneurs from London, UK with businesses using future tech to help a billion people

A startup accelerator program is looking for London, UK-based female startup founders who are leveraging future technologies to positively impact a billion people.

Her Future Accelerator is run by the Global Startup Ecosystem (GSE), an organization which has held a series of digital accelerators in more than 90 countries for the past four years.

Designed in line with the UN sustainable development goal for gender equality, the new program is the first one by GSE tailored for women, whether running a business or freelancers.

Responding to an email inquiry from FTI, the organizers explained that the accelerator welcomes entrepreneurs, regardless of the stage of their business, “as long as it is led or founded by a female founder.”

Program content and prize partners including IBM, Google, Amazon, Sendgrid, Hubspot, and Digital Ocean, will provide participants with $250,000 in free credit support.

Her Future Accelerator is a free, no-equity program intended to help women build and scale a successful tech product addressing humanity’s grandest challenges.

Here is a link to the application form. The deadline is August 18, 2019.

Based on their level of engagement and dedication, attendees will have a chance to receive partner prizes, media exposure and investments. It is the organizers’ intention to help build 100 future tech unicorns founded by female entrepreneurs by 2030.
In addition to the one in London, GSE will launch another edition of the program in New York in September, alongside the Her Future Summit series in London, New York and Washington.
